Hand-Held Rotary or Fixed Reaction Sensors

These lightweight (1 to 7 lbs.) hand-held torquing units utilize state-of-the-art technology to permit maximum adaptability to various applications. Low torque values are read from in.-oz. to ft.-lbs. A printer interface permits operating data to be viewed, printed or transmitted to a computer for hard copy verification. An alarm beeps when applied load reaches the preset level, and the unit features a sensor overload warning indication. A scalable analog output jack is provided for connection to a plotter or panel meter.

Easy retrofit to customer requirements: This series of Hand-Held Rotary or Fixed Reaction Sensors is available in a wide range of sizes. Custom configurations available upon request.

These units are very easy to use:

ATP 2500 Digitally Controlled Torque Wrench
Portable, lightweight and precise
Used to apply, measure and record torque in precise amounts
Designed for production, maintenance and R & D analysis

Lightweight, digital readout facilitates operator ease of use.
Alarm beeps when applied load reaches the preset level; an external jack is also provided with volume control to allow connection of headphones for use in noisy areas.
Sensor overload warning indication
RS-232 output provides interface to a PC or printer
Scaleable analog output jack is provided for connection to a plotter or panel meter.
Printing technique permits capture of data for process verification, QA compliance and permanent files without manual notation of date, time torque and other data.

JT4000 Model
A portable digital indicator designed for use with socket wrench sensors.
Unit utilizes smart sensor technology in which the calibration data of each sensor is stored on an EPROM located in the sensor.
This technology allows the user to interchange sensors without additional calibration.
Unit is fully compatible with all strain-gage-based transducers.
Features: 32-Digit Alpha-Numeric Display; Peak/Hold; Push-Button Zero; Alarm; Auto Shutoff; Rechargeable Nicad Battery Pack; RS-232 Output; User-Selectable Units; Analog Output; Smart Sensor Compatible

Socket Wrench Torque Sensor Unit
Advanced Torque's Test & Measurement Systems (TBE) Socket Wrench Torque Sensors are available in two models: a slip-ring type rotating sensor (Model 12346) and a reaction type (Model 17430).
Both sensors utilize strain gage technology and are adaptable to all strain gage type indicators.
Sensors operate in both directions: CW and CCW.
Units are supplied with a Certificate of Calibration traceable to N.I.S.T.
Data can be displayed in graphical form or transferred in table format to a spread sheet program (such as Lotus™) for further analysis.
Rotary transducer can be configured with an air or electric drive for auto shutoff at desired torque.
